Through a combination of on-campus, online and in-the-field experience, our Flex Education option can help prepare you for a job as a medical assistant in less than a year.
Flex students begin working in our medical assistant clinic right away to introduce them to becoming medical assistants. As they continue in the program, they will experience continued work in the lab plus additional internship hours at a medical office. The program culminates in an externship in a medical office, which will provide that final preparation to beginning your new career. You will get hands-on practical experience throughout the program from industry experienced professionals.
